Police plea after sexual assault in Fraserburgh

Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in an Aberdeenshire town.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday at Broadsea in Fraserburgh.

Grampian Police said the 24-year-old woman was left "shaken", but did not require hospital treatment.

A spokesperson appealed for anyone with information about the incident, or who was in the Broadsea area early on Sunday, to contact them.
