Five in court for A90 drugs recovery near Stonehaven

Five people have appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of £25,000 were recovered from a vehicle on the A90 in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police said the crack cocaine was found near Stonehaven on Monday.

Liam Smith, 18, Imogen Mellor, 23, Kim Duncan, 32, Mhairi Livingston, 37, and David Stewart, 38, made no plea when they appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Ms Duncan, of Aberdeen, and Mr Stewart, of Leicester, were remanded in custody.

Mr Smith, of Wolverhampton, Ms Mellor, of Derby, and Ms Livingston, of Aberdeen, were released on bail.
