Boy airlifted after Aberdeenshire cliff fall

A ten-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a cliff in Aberdeenshire.

It is believed the boy, who is on holiday in the area from Belgium, fell about 15ft at Cairn o' Mount near the B974 Banchory to Fettercairn road.

He was transported by an RAF rescue helicopter to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment shortly after 13:00 on Sunday.

There were no details about the boy's condition.
