Fire tackled at Redhall Arms Hotel in Fordoun

Firefighters spent almost an hour tackling a blaze at an Aberdeenshire hotel.

Crews were sent to the Redhall Arms Hotel in Fordoun on Wednesday afternoon.

A Grampian Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman told the BBC Scotland news website that six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were used, alongside jets.

There were no reports of any rescues or casualties.
