Woman cut free following A96 Inverurie bypass crash

A woman has been freed by firefighters following a two-car collision in Aberdeenshire.

The crash happened on the A96 Inverurie bypass at about 06:00.

The woman, believed to be aged 22, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with leg injuries.

The road was closed, with diversions in place through Inverurie. It caused rush-hour delays. The road later re-opened.
