Female pedestrian injured in Aberdeen lorry collision

A woman was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a lorry in Aberdeen.

The accident happened in King Street, near its junction with Urquhart Road, at about 07:30.

Grampian Police said King Street had been closed, causing significant delays at rush-hour and during the morning.

The force later said the woman's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
