Cyclist hurt after being hit by car in Aberdeen

A cyclist has been injured after being hit by a car in Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

Police Scotland said the man was involved in the collision on Union Street in the city centre at about 16:20 on Saturday.

He was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The car driver was uninjured.

Officers closed part of Union Street, between Chapel Street and Holburn Junction, to carry out investigations.
