Two bikers airlifted after crash on A93 near Coilacriech

Two motorcyclists have been airlifted to hospital following a crash in Aberdeenshire.

Police said the men, aged in their 40s, were riding on the A93 Ballater to Braemar road, when they collided near Coilacriech at about 13:30.

A spokesman said both riders had been flown by helicopter to Aberdeen's Royal Infirmary.

The road was closed in both directions, with diversions in place.
