A crane driver had to be rescued from almost 100ft (30m) after taking ill in Aberdeen.

The emergency services were called to the incident at a construction site off Springfield Road after the man suffered chest and arm pains.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service used a specialist height vehicle to bring the man down.

Station manager Stuart Cruickshank told BBC Scotland it "thankfully" went to 32m (105ft).

It is understood the man was taken to hospital for checks.
