Police clampdown in Fraserburgh sees 22 charged

More than 20 people have been charged after a police clampdown on anti-social behaviour in Fraserburgh.

Operation Rhylestone has seen patrols in the town centre to target drug misuse and drinking on the streets.

Police Scotland said 22 people were charged for offences including drug supply, assault, and reckless conduct.

Sgt Sam Buchan, who led the operation, said: "After listening to concerns of residents, this is the third weekend in a row we have deployed extra officers."
