Police appeal after two lambs stolen from New Deer

Police have appealed for information after two week-old lambs were stolen in Aberdeenshire.

The lambs were taken from the Culsh area of New Deer between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

PC Alexander Carle said: "These lambs are being bottle fed and if they don't receive the correct milk this could be life-threatening for them."

"They are known to be quite noisy when looking for food."

He added: "We are appealing to members of the public who may have heard something or seen something suspicious in the area.

"One of the lambs is individually marked and has 55 in blue paint on the left of its body and a blue dot on its forehead."
