Confiscation order of £39,000 for Aberdeen drugs man

A man jailed for drugs offences in Aberdeen has been handed a confiscation order for more than £39,000.

Peter Smith, 32, from Liverpool, was jailed for two years and nine months last year after he admitted his role in heroin supply in Cults.

The confiscation order was made at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

Lindsey Miller, procurator fiscal for organised crime, said: "His finances for the past six years have been carefully scrutinised."
