Three freed over Aberdeen brothel allegations

Three women have been freed following allegations that they kept a brothel in Aberdeen's west end.

Police Scotland said a search warrant was executed at an address in the city's Broomhill Road on Monday.

They were initially expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

However, the Crown Office later said the procurator fiscal had instructed no proceedings be taken at this time. The women were freed from custody and did not appear in court.

A spokesman added: "The Crown reserves the right to raise proceedings in future."

The women are aged 22, 23 and 26.
