Mother of Kelli Ferris praises efforts of searchers

The mother of a missing woman whose remains have been discovered has praised the effort to find her.

Aberdeen woman Kelli Ferris, 40, had last been seen in September last year.

Human remains discovered off the coast of Arbroath last week were identified as that of Ms Ferris.

Her mother Catherine Sandison: "Kelli was a loving daughter. I want to thank everyone who helped us. We now have an end and can begin the grieving process for Kelli."
