Appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Aberdeen collision

Police have appealed for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured after being knocked down in Aberdeen.
The incident happened on the unclassified Shielhill road between the B997 Scotstown road and B999 Potterton road at about 11:55 on Saturday.
The 56-year-old male cyclist - who was wearing a yellow rucksack and was on a white racing-type bike - was taken to hospital.
Police said a silver Subaru Impreza was involved.
