Two charged after Banff charity thefts

Two people have been charged after money was stolen during a break-in at a charity shop in Banff.

Police said a four-figure sum was reported missing from Daniel's Place in Low Street on 12 February.

A 33-year-old man and 34-year-old woman have been charged in connection with the incident, as well theft of charity money from another business in the Low Street area.

They were expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court.
