Men in court over Fraserburgh death

Two men have appeared in court charged with murder after a death in Fraserburgh last month.

Gary Clampett, 39, died after a disturbance in Fernie Place in the early hours of 18 June.

James Connor, 61, and 24-year-old Dean Leach, both from Fraserburgh, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court.

They made no plea and were remanded in custody. It brings the number of men who have appeared in court in connection to the death to seven.
