A contract to provide telecom services for the BBC's broadcast of the Royal wedding has been awarded to Paisley company Pinnacle.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting married on 29 April at Westminster Abbey.

Pinnacle will provide network and circuits at various locations in London.

The company said the event was likely to be one of the biggest of the year and it was "delighted" to be involved.

Pinnacle, which has provided services at events such as T in the Park and the Chelsea Flower Show, recently announced it had doubled turnover last year.

The group's 2010 turnover rose to £6.6m and its pre-tax loss was cut to £268,000.
