Man on drug charges after Selkirk death

A 36-year-old man has been charged with drug offences following the death of a man in the Scottish Borders.

The body of Greg Alexander, 23, from Selkirk, was found at a flat in the town in the early hours of Thursday.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said the arrest followed an investigation into the death.

He added: "A 36-year-old male has been arrested and charged in relation to drug supply offences and is subject of a report to the procurator-fiscal."
