Scottish Borders death crash charge admitted
Sentence has been deferred on a driver who admitted causing the death of another motorist by driving carelessly in the Borders last year.
Andrew McLean, 22, of Carnwath, South Lanarkshire, died in the crash in Peeblesshire on 11 September.
Jean-Baptiste Brosset, 23, of Wexford, Ireland, admitted committing the offence on the A72.
At Selkirk Sheriff Court, sentence was deferred for background reports until 11 April.
Mr McLean was killed in the incident and two other people were injured.
The road was closed for about five hours while investigations were carried out.
