River Tweed body find identified

Police have identified a man whose body was discovered in the River Tweed last week.

A spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Ian Kyle, 46, who was from Newtown St Boswells.

His body was spotted in waters near his home town late in the morning of 12 April.

Lothian and Borders Police said a report on the incident had been sent to the procurator fiscal.
