River Tweed body found in Coldstream fisherman search

Rescue teams searching for a 70-year-old fisherman reported missing near Coldstream have recovered a body from the River Tweed.

The Border Search and Rescue Unit was called out at about midday on Wednesday.

They joined underwater search teams and a helicopter from RAF Boulmer as part of the operation to try to trace the missing man.

A body was discovered a short while later near Ladykirk House.
