Borders drugs operation sees second round of arrests
A second round of arrests has been made as part of a major drugs operation in towns across the Scottish Borders.
Homes in Galashiels, Selkirk, Kelso, Hawick and Melrose were targeted in the latest phase of Operation Goal.
A further 12 arrests were made taking the total to 23 from the joint-agency action which started on Wednesday.
Det Ch Insp Amanda McGrath of Lothian and Borders Police said the operation showed its "zero tolerance" approach to drug dealing in the region.
A quantity of cocaine was also seized in the second phase of police raids.
