Eastriggs peat site generators worth £31,000 stolen

Police are investigating after three generators worth more than £31,000 were stolen from a peat moss works.

The incident occurred about 22:30 on Sunday at the Nutberry Moss site in Eastriggs, Dumfries and Galloway.

Police said the items were very large and heavy and would have required a lorry and lifting gear in order for them to be removed.

They are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious.
