Moffat dentist Viadutis Sitka suspended for extra 12 months

A Dumfriesshire dentist has had his registration to practice suspended for a further 12 months.

The General Dental Council previously upheld multiple charges against Lithuania-born Viadutis Sitka.

They related to failings in diagnosis, clinical standards and record-keeping.

The case against him involved his treatment of 15 patients while he was employed at the Moffat Dental Centre between June and October 2009.
