Teenager injured in quarry fall
A 16-year-old boy has been critically injured after falling 25ft (7.6m) down a quarry in Fife.
Fife police said the teenager had been attempting to climb the cliff face at Goat Quarry, near Aberdour, just before 2200 BST on Friday.
The boy, who is believed to live locally, had been camping with friends in the area.
A coastguard helicopter was used to lift the teenager from the bottom of the quarry.
He was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh where his condition was said to be critical but stable.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
