A woman has died and a man seriously injured after they were both hit by a car in Dundee in the early hours of the morning.
A blue Honda Civic hit Linda Crosbie, from Monifieth, and the 38-year-old man as they crossed the road in Riverside Drive at Discovery Quay.
They were treated by ambulance staff and a trauma team at the scene before being taken to Ninewells Hospital.
But Ms Crosbie, 44, died from her injuries later on Sunday morning.
Tayside Police appealed for witnesses to come forward, and said they were particularly keen to speak to a group of people who had got off a bus in the car park next to Discovery Point shortly before the crash, which happened at 0130 BST.
They are also looking to trace the male and female passengers of a grey Skoda Octavia taxi which stopped at the accident scene before later dropping the passengers off in the Milne Street area of Perth.
Airlifted to hospital
And anyone who saw a blue Honda Civic CRX car, a black Volkswagen Polo, a white Honda CRX, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a blue Ford Focus or the grey Skoda Octavia taxi travelling in the South Marketgait, Riverside Roundabout or Riverside Drive areas before the fatal crash has also been urged to contact the police.
A police spokesman said the occupants of all of these vehicles had already been traced.
In a separate incident, a nine-year-old boy was seriously injured after his bicycle was involved in a collision with a Citroen C2 car in the city on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened at the junction of Brackens Road at Strathmartine Road.
The boy's injuries were not thought to have been life threatening.
