Cashier, 32, dies in Arbroath Morrisons

A 32-year-old shop worker has died in an Arbroath supermarket after going into cardiac arrest.

Cashier Marie Stewart, from Arbroath, collapsed in the town's Morrisons store just before 0600 BST on Monday as she was about to begin work.

She was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Tayside Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The woman's family have been notified.
