A Scottish first division football club are to rename their ground after a hotel as part of a sponsorship deal.

Stirling Albion have signed a three-year deal with Doubletree by Hilton, which owns the Dunblane Hydro Hotel.

The Binos are the first senior club to be owned by a supporters' trust after the group took over in July.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Stirling Albion's Forthbank stadium will be renamed the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium.

The trust said it wanted to challenge "traditional sponsorship routes" and involve more local businesses in the club.
