A Stirling march by campaigners against domestic violence has been postponed because of the severe weather.

The annual White Ribbon march was due to take place on Thursday, but will now be rearranged in the new year.

A spokeswoman for Stirling Council said: "Unfortunately, due to the very severe weather, it is not safe for the event to go ahead."

The White Ribbon campaign aims to eliminate violence against women and raise awareness.
