Search after Denny farmhouse burns down

  • Published

Police are trying to trace two people after a farmhouse in Denny burnt down overnight.

Emergency services were called to the two-storey house at Castlerankine Farm at 0345 GMT after a member of the public raised the alarm.

The farmhouse was "well ablaze" by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

Central Scotland Police said the two occupants of the house had not yet been traced. The fire is not being treated as suspicious.

Investigators from the police and Central Scotland Fire Service are at the scene, but they said the building was "too dangerous" to enter at the moment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
