Denny police find human remains in flat

Human remains have been found at a flat in Denny, Falkirk.

The remains were discovered at a flat in Bridge Crescent on Sunday. Central Scotland Police said they were treating the death as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination and other forensic tests will be carried out to confirm the person's identity.

A spokeswoman said: "We can confirm we are investigating a sudden death and we are treating the circumstances surrounding it as suspicious."
