Pedestrian killed by coach in Dundee

A man has died after being struck by a single decker coach in Dundee.

The Park's of Hamilton coach, which was travelling from Aberdeen to Glasgow, hit the man on the A85 at Riverside Drive at about 1515 GMT.

The pedestrian, who has not been named, was taken to Ninewells Hospital but died of his injuries.

Tayside Police said the road had been closed to allow for accident investigations. They have also appealed for witnesses to contact them.
