Man, 63, arrested over £100,000 drugs haul

A 63-year-old man has been arrested after police found drugs and cash totalling more than £100,000.

Drugs squad officers stopped a car at Pirnhall, Stirling, and seized cocaine with a street value of about £10,500.

After searching a house in Alva, Clackmannanshire, officers found £30,000 of cash and £25,000 of jewellery.

A Central Scotland Police spokesman said "evidence of other wealth and drugs" was also found at the home.

The operation was carried out on 16 February after police received information about the car.
