Missing Dundee student found by police

A PhD student who was missing from his home for nine days has been found, police have said.

Hosea Handoyo, who is studying at Dundee University, was last seen at the city's railway station on 16 February.

Police and colleagues said on Thursday they were growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the life sciences student.

But a spokeswoman for Tayside Police confirmed he had now been traced "safe and well" in the Pitlochry area.
