Pair in court over Dundee stabbing

Two men have appeared in court following an alleged attempted murder of a 30-year-old man in Dundee.

Martin Currie, 40, and Darren Binnie, 25, were accused of stabbing the man at a flat in Stirling Street on Friday.

The victim, who has not been named, was found with potentially life threatening injuries at about 1015 GMT that night.

The men made no plea or declaration during the hearing at the city's sheriff court. They were remanded in custody to appear in court next week.
