Three arrested over Denny and Bonnybridge crime spree

Three men aged 25, 24, and 20 have been arrested over a series of offences against householders in central Scotland.

They were apprehended by police after 13 homes were targeted on Wednesday and Thursday in Denny and Bonnybridge.

The men have all been charged in connection with assault, theft, intended theft and a robbery where a 76-year-old woman was the victim.

They were due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.

Houses in Bonnybridge's Wheatlands Avenue, Hope Park Terrace, and Claremont Street were targeted, as were four homes in Blaefaulds Crescent, a house in Randolph Gardens and one in Bulloch Crescent, all in Denny.

Police are still appealing for anyone who may have had men calling at their homes offering to carry out work to come forward.
