Police have described an attack on a bus carrying school children in Stirling as reckless and dangerous.
Two of the vehicle's windows were smashed as it travelled along Barnsdale Road in St Ninians about 15:15 on Monday afternoon.
Central Scotland Police are attempting to trace a group of three teenage boys seen in the area at the time. They ran off towards Glasgow Road following the incident.
No one was hurt during the attack.
Officers described the youths seen fleeing from the area as between 14 and 15 years old and of slim build.
They said one was wearing a bright blue hooded top and grey bottoms and the other two had dark clothing on.
A police spokesperson said: "Throwing objects at any vehicle is reckless and dangerous. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated and we appeal for anyone who saw anything to come forward."
