Drugs seized in a series of police raids in Tayside

Drug seizures worth a total of £75,000 have been made by officers in Tayside and Perthshire.

Officers from the serious crime unit of Tayside Police and the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency carried out a series of raids of properties and a car on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tayside police said cocaine and heroin with street values of £25,000 and £50,000 respectively were found.

Four men have been arrested and will appear in court.

Two men were arrested on Wednesday in the Perth area after the cocaine discovery.

On Thursday officers raided a property in Dudhope Court, Dundee, discovering the heroin. Two further arrests were made.
