Motorcyclist killed in Perthshire crash named as John McGrath
Police have named a motorcyclist who died after his bike collided with a car in Perthshire.
John McGrath, from Stirling, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident on the A827 between Ballinluig and Grantully on Sunday.
The 49-year-old was thrown from his motorbike after it crashed head-on with a black Vauxhall Astra.
Police said Mr McGrath's family "were understandably upset by their sudden loss".
Mr McGrath was in a group of three motorcyclists travelling on the road on Sunday.
Officers have appealed for any witnesses to contact them, and said they were particularly keen to trace the driver and any occupants of a black or dark coloured people-carrier seen in the area immediately before the collision.
