Pair seriously injured after car overturns on M90

A man and a woman have been seriously injured following a car crash on the M90 in Fife.

Police said the Fiat Punto they were travelling in rolled over on the south bound carriageway between Kelty and Halbeath just after 17:00.

Police and fire and ambulance crews were all in attendance as well as the air ambulance.

One casualty was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and the other was taken to Kirkcaldy's Victoria hospital.

The road was closed between junctions 3 and 4 while investigations were carried out
