Man accused of attacking 70-year-old Dundee cyclist

A 48-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault on a 70-year-old cyclist.

The incident, involving two cyclists, happened in the Greenmarket/Roseangle area of Dundee on 2 September.

Police in Tayside said the 70-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital after suffering a double fracture to his cheekbone.

The force said the 48-year-old man was due to appear at the city's sheriff court on Thursday.
