Police look for Dundee play park stranger

Police are looking for a man who approached two 13-year-old girls in a Dundee play park.

The incident happened at about 15:00 on Saturday in the Menzieshill area.

After both the girls made it clear they would not speak to the male, he gave up and left in a small green four-door car.

He was described as being in his 30s, 5ft 10in and of an Afro-Caribbean appearance with black receding hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a green body-warmer over a black long-sleeved top, green or grey coloured jeans, black shoes and black sunglasses.

On taking his glasses off, he was seen to have a 'squint' left eye.

After the girls refused to speak to him he left in a car, heading down Spey Drive towards Mallaig Avenue.

Police have urged anyone who can help them with their inquiries to get in touch.
