Police probe Broughty Ferry corner shop armed robbery

Police are searching for an armed robber who made off with alcohol, tobacco and cash from a Broughty Ferry corner shop.

The man entered the Nisa shop on the corner of Queen Street and Gray Street wearing a balaclava and wielding a knife at about 21:30 on Saturday.

He is described as being 6ft tall and of slim build, wearing a light-coloured jacket and dark gloves and was carrying a large dark holdall.

Officers have appealed for witnesses.
