A man is to stand trial accused of crashing his car into a turnstile at Dundee United's football stadium.

Bradley Forsyth is alleged to have smashed his Ford Fiesta into the wall of Tannadice Stadium on 6 April last year.

The 23-year-old is accused of failing to stop and report the crash within 24 hours.

Forsyth, of Playfair Terrace, Dundee, denies the offence.

He also denies a further charge of failing to identify the driver of a car on the city's Hilltown following an incident there.

Sheriff Tom Hughes continued the case to a further hearing.

The crash occurred the day after United hosted Celtic in a SPFL Premiership clash, and left a hole in the side of the Fair Play Stand.
