Police are investigating after vandals caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage at Tillicoultry Congregational Church.

Furniture, a wall and play equipment were smashed in the garden at the rear of the High Street church between Tuesday and Friday of last week.

Two males aged between 11 and 15, one with short red hair and the other with collar-length black hair, were seen within the play area around the time.

Officers have appealed for information.

Plastic chairs and tables, two wooden benches and a stone wall were smashed to pieces, while a children's jungle gym was also broken and a trampoline flipped over. It was estimated the total cost of the damage was about £880.
