Teenage girl hit by car outside Dundee church

A 16-year-old girl has been hit by a car close to a Dundee church.

The teenage pedestrian was treated at the scene of the incident on Macalpine Road, beside St Leonard's and St Fergus Church, at about 08:35.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the girl did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision.

A section of Macapline Road was closed for about 40 minutes while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
