Two men have been taken to hospital after a collision between a fishing boat and a university research vessel.
The pair were treated for shock and neck pain after the collision off Menai Bridge, Anglesey, as the 390-tonne Prince Madog was leaving its berth.
The £2.8m research vessel from the School of Ocean Sciences at Bangor University trains marine scientists.
The injured men, aged 37 and 27, were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor. It is not known which boat they were on.
Neither man fell in the water.
The incident happened at around 0924 BST near Gallows Point, Menai Bridge.
They were taken aboard Beaumaris RNLI inshore lifeboat and taken ashore, where an ambulance was waiting.
