Two rescued from flat fire in Swansea

Two people have been rescued from a flat fire at Rose Hill Terrace in Swansea which broke out shortly after midnight.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said they were called to the four-floor building of flats at 0015 GMT.

Crews from Swansea West and Swansea Central were called to the fire, which was confined to the second floor.

Police and ambulance crews were also sent to the scene. Police said no-one was hurt.

A fire investigation will begin this morning, said a spokesman for the fire service.
