Derbyshire man dies after Fishguard hostel window fall

A man who fell from a first-floor window at a hostel in Pembrokeshire last week has died in hospital from his injuries, say police.

The man, 45, from Derbyshire, suffered serious head, chest and leg injuries following the fall in the early hours of 17 March in Fishguard.

Dyfed-Powys Police said they would not be releasing the his name following a request from his family.

The incident happened at Hamilton Lodge where police said the man was staying.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest.
